Searching for information on Thomas C. Barron [Barren] living in Jackson Co. GA by 1830 - also listed in 1840 and 1850 Census records. Thomas Barron was born 1780 in NC. He married Sallie Titsworth, dtr. of Isaac Titsworth in SC.
Both Thomas C. Barron and Isaac Titsworth died in Jackson Co.GA.
Isaac ca. 1840 and Thomas 1854.
Isaac Titsworth [incorrectly spelled in Abstracts of Wills as Titsmouth] named his heirs:
grandson, Lewis Bennett, g-dtr. Patsy Paul Bennett [children of his dec'd dtr. Elizabeth Bennett]
Nancy Barron - daughter, and son in law Samuel Barron.
Rebeccah Nix\Nicks, dec'd son [grandson] Thomas Nicks\Nix and
grandchildren, Amanda Eliza Isaac N. Thomas Elizabeth Marshal WIlliam Nancy and Calvin Barron, children of Sally Barron, dec'd.[no commas between the names of his g-children]
THomas Barron's dtrs. married [1] Amanda Melvina to John S. Park ;
[2]Elizabeth md. Thomas P. Park [I think?]but in THomas's will her name was Elizabeth Ledbetter.
[3]Nancy Antionette md. Barton
Calvin and William Barron were also named in his will. Calvin's first name is "Barnabas"[listed in 1850 census as Barnabas C. Barron.
Any information to help me untangle some of these Thomas Barrons as well as Barnabas Barrons will be helpful.
