Trying to prove who was the husband of Polly Flanigan, Rev. War widow, who is on the 1825 Jackson County Lottery List, Capt. McGinnis' Dist. No. 255. I feel it was William Flanigan who is listing in the early 1800 buying land in Jackson County.
My 4th great grandfather, William Flanigan, was from Wales and had a daughter, Lucy Flanigan, who married Elijah Stephens in Pendleton, SC. I'm trying to prove that the above "Polly" was his wife.
Can anyone help?
