Seeking information on a Solomon CARTER who died in Jackson Co., GA. abt. 1803 (Estate recorded, 25 Jan 1803). Did he go to GA with a group of Rev. Soldiers? Would like to know to whom he was md. and the names of his children. Was he in NC before going to Jackson Co., GA?

A Solomon CARTER and a William CARTER were listed on an 1809 Tax List for Jackson Co., GA. A William CARTER served on the Grand Jury for the county in March 1801 and a William CARTER, JR. answered a roll call for jurors in April 1803.

Were these men related to Solomon CARTER who died abt. 1803?

Thanks,
Kitty Biven Hoffman
