Hi, Robert,

So Anna didn't have two marriages, but four? This is a slightly unusual story! Since a lot of it was told to you, there may be details that are a bit off. In my own family, seems like every story had some errors in it.

Since you've obviously done a lot of researching already, I don't know that I'm going to be able to uncover anything you haven't. The answers may be off in a Georgia courthouse, and if you can't get there, the only solution would be to hire someone. I'll probably keep looking anyway. Say, where did Elisha Irwin and his wife live around 1870 and 1880?

The only thing I would mention now is that I believe Anna's fourth husband was Daniel S. Sharp, not D. H. Sharp. If you look at the page where Marvin and Alice White appear in 1920, in Minish District of Jackson County, just above is the household of D. S. Sharp, 63, and his wife Anna, 51. It's just too much coincidence that an Anna Sharp of the right age is so close to Alice White--it's got to be her mother. The birthplace for D. S. and Anna are both listed as Florida, plus those of their parents', but I'm guessing these are all wrong. Actually D. S. Sharp died 19 Mar 1920, just two months after the census was taken (6 Jan 1920), and you can see his death certificate at Georgia's Virtual Vault (http://content.sos.state.ga.us/cdm4/gadeaths.php). It's filed under Daniel S. Sharp. His certificate states that he was born in Georgia, not Florida.
