Lawrence Blackwell was born abt 1795 in NC or TN. There is a 1826, Maury, TN marriage date for him and Sarah Davis. There is an 1835 Lawrence Co. MS marriage date for him and Sarah Susan Sills (born abt 1807 in GA ). Some say his parents are L.F. and Frances Pryor Blackwell, while others say John and Bede Anne.
Some of his kids are Micajah, L. Aaron, Mary Ann, Catherine, Emeline. They married into the Ward, Rutherford/Pierce, and Loftin families.
