Marion Hyde was born about 1853-1857 in MS. In the 1880 census for Calhoun Co, MS he was listed as Head, living with a J.T.Cooper. HIs father's birthplace was GA. I have his photo, with "Died young at 39" written on the back, which would put his death about 1892, if he was born in 1853.
He was married to a Susan Spencer, daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Spencer, abt. 1881 cause their son William Jefferson Hyde was born in 1882 and son Frank was born in 1887. They were living with Susan's brother William Spencer and family in 1900 Calhoun Co MS census.
A son of William Jefferson Hyde told me they came from GA. (He has since passed on)
