My name is Antonio McMillian of McRae, GA. I have been told all my life that I was related to the Wells Family of Jacksonville, GA. My family said that I was related to them by my great-great grandmother Isabell Rogers McRae(1894-1936). She was from Jacksonville but moved to the Cedar Park area when she married Moses McRae(1893-1975). It was always said the Isabell was of mixed race. An 1900 census showed that her mother Isabella was indeed mulatto. Her father name was Pete Rogers and her step-father was Steve McMillian. Isabell's siblings that I know by name is Eadie, Daisy, John W, Annie B, Daisy, and Sadie. Daisy married was Spellers while Eadie's were Ware. I suspect that since the Wells and Rogers were mulatto that I'm related to the white Wells and Rogers also. If anybody have any information about the Rogers/Wells connection reply this message or email me at t_tone_05@yahoo.com. Thanks.
