I forgot to mention that there were other legal name changes in early Georgia that are not on that list ....

(I'd seen one on a name I'm researching that was in a book in my county genealogy library -- I think might have been in "The Georgia Black Book ...." by Robert Scott Davis, Jr. That book has data from various records that researchers may not be aware of.)
