Glad to help what little I can. No, don't live in Georgia but have family interests there. I'm just an Internet research volunteer. You mentioned the 1942 obit: does it give burial info, such as cemetery name and location? A cemetery search (either online or in person) may shed light on the other family members. Here's the info for Dora's death cert: Georgia Deaths, 1919-98 Georgia Deaths, 1919-98 Name: Dora A Howell Death Date: 06 Jan 1942 County of Death: Dooly Gender: F Race: W Certificate: 681 If you don't have the actual cert, it might be worthwhile to get it and see what family info it contains. Try this: http://sos.georgia.gov/archives/what_do_we_have/vital_records/ You might also try this: http://www.raogk.org/georgia.htm for a possible volunteer who might be able to help you with local onsite research. Continued Good Luck! Notify Administrator about this message?
