Thanks. I did find Annie on the 1930 census {Otero Co., NM}. I have been unable to find her, Joel or their children on the 1920 federal census-anywhere. There is an Annie, listed as a widow, but living in NY without her children. I'm doubting she is the right one, even though that is her birth state and the age is right. So . . still searching.

Are you related to this Joel Jones line? I'm hoping so. I'd love to find descendants who might know something - hopefully we can all pool our information and solve the puzzles in this family. Jones is the most difficult surname I've researched in 43+ years!
