I am researching my Amos Sledge family. Amos married Mary Pattishall and lived in Jones Co., GA before moving to Upson Co., GA. I can document all his children. However, I found a marriage for a Sarah Caroline Sledge-born GA who married 1848, Upson Co.,GA Robert Jones. They had no children. Robert Jones is listed on the account for Theodore Sledge, son of Creasy Sledge. Creasy was the daughter of Amos and Mary Sledge. Robert Jones and Sarah are enumerated in the 1880 GA Census. I am lacking proof of the parents of Sarah Caroline. Any help would be helpful and I am willing to share my information.
