Despertly need help with Nancy Murray born about 1800 and who married Jerden Harris in Georgia, Jerden Harris father was Henry Jerden Harris. Nancy and Jerden Harris had a son Paton or Peyton Harris born about 1820-1825 time frame. He moved to Caldwell County, North Carolina and was married to Mary Underwood and had 10 children.
We are trying to determine if Nancy Murray was Cherokee as we think she was.
One of Paton/Peyton Harris daughters Sarah J. Harris married Aaron James Webb he was Chataw or Cherokee and they lived on Oklahoma
