Hello Sally --

I e-mailed you directly, but thought I would post here a portion of the information. Perry Gabbard's parents were Wilburn (Wilbourn) Bond Gabbard born January 25, 1867 in Owsley County, Kentucky and Margaret "Maggie" Clark born 1874 in Kentucky. Wilburn's parents were George Washington Gabbard born December 10, 1830 in Clay County, Kentucky d. May 1, 1911 in Owsley County, Kentucky, and Mary Elizabeth Shock or Shook, born March 18, 1845 in North Carolina, died Feb. 18, 1922 in Owsley County, Kentucky.
Note that in 1930, Wilborn & Maggie and family and their sons (with their families), Green Gabbard and Perry Gabbard are all in Dearborn County, Indiana. In 1920, Wilborn & Maggie were still in Owsley County, as was Green Gabbard. But Perry and his brother John, with their families, were in Franklin County, Indiana.
