Hi Kristyn,
My mother's maiden name was Gabbard, first name Rita, born in Kentucky.
Her parents were Edward and Stella Gabbard (Blankenship). Stella died in Leesburg, FL about 1975. Edward died early 1980's. I know one of Ed's brothers was named Tom and he went to prison for killing a man.
I would like to research further.
