Hello -

My mother's maiden name is Gabbard and she was raised in Breathitt County, Kentucky. We have very little information on her father's side of the family. I know her father's name was Rexford Lowell Gabbard and his parents were Bill and Elsie Gabbard and I believe they lived in a community called Elkatawa or Elkatoy. I believe Rex had two brothers, William Gabbard and John Scott Gabbard. I also believe that Rex's grandfather was William Gabbard. I'd love to learn more about this family line!
