I have 12May1846 as the birth date for Saloma/Salome Gabbert.
From my files, she died 04Apr1923. Her marriage to Zebedee W. Shook
was 07Sep1865 in Wood Co., WV. He was a son of Samuel and Elizabeth Shook.
They had two daughters that I know of - Cora Belle and Elizabeth.

Salome was a daughter of Jacob Gabbert and Sarah "Sally" Funkhouser.
Jacob was born 24Oct1800 in Augusta Co., VA and he died
08Jan1890 in Grafton, WV. He was a blacksmith. He and Sarah were
married 15May1826 in Augusta Co., VA.

Jacob was a son of George Washington Gabbert and Elizabeth Ellinger.
George was born about 1774, a son of the mysterious 'Old' Jacob.
