I was looking at older postings, in particualr, message #9 in the forum:
Laura,
Your Charles DePauw Gabbert who married Rebecca Barnett was not a son
of Jacob Gabbert and Martha Young. He was a son of Thomas Gabbert and
Mary "Polly" DePauw. They were married 05May1827 and in that year were
living in Washington County, Indiana. Thomas and family eventually
migrated to Buchanan County, Missouri wher he died about 1844.
Their children were:
Charles Gabbert married Rebecca Barnett
Charles and Rebecca had a son named William P. Gabbert
who married Belle Foster
Peter Gabbert
Rachel Gabbert married 20Mar1823 in Washington Co IN Joseph Lockhart
Anna Gabbert married 20Oct1825 in Washington Co., IN Montgomery Young
Kezia Gabbert married 26 Nov 1837 John Hockman
Thomas Gabbert was born about 1784 in Lexington, Virginia, fourth child
of George Gabbert and Anne Reed. Thomas was a brother to Jacob Gabbert
who married Martha Young. The children of Jacob and Martha were
Nancy, Sarah, Martha, Amanda, John, Leander and George. No Charles
or Mary Ann.

Can I ask you to confirm that William Gabbert married to Rebecca Wade, was a son of Thomas Gabbert and Mary "Polly" DePauw.
In your earlier response, I did not see that you listed William as a son.
