I am researching the Gabbert Family also. My great-great-grandfather was Cary T. Gabbert (b. 1823) in VA/WV who married Marinda E. Hunter (b. 1827). They settled in Montgomery County, Missouri.

William Allan, Martha J., James H. and John A.G. were children of the marriage.

We are decendents of William.

I would be glad to share information and would be interested in any info you might have on Cary.
