Well, I'm not sure whether I'm direct relatives to this pair or not. I'm interested in learning more about them and their daughter, Rachel Gabbert, who apparently married Joseph Lockhart on 20 Mar 1823 in Washington County, Indiana. I'm trying to find out if this was the Rachel Lockhart who married Robert Stanhope on 27 Sep 1835, in Clark County, IL, after Joseph died about 1835. They are listed with my ancestor, John William Lockhart, in the 1850 and she is listed in the 1860 census records with him.

So I may be a direct ancestor if this was the correct Rachel and was my ancestor's mother or sister....

Do you have any info that would help me?
