Those looking for parents of Thomas M. Gabbert of Union Co., SC, and Walker Co., AL, will be interested to know that there was a Martha Gabbert in the 1820 census of
Union County: Martha Gabbert 301100-10001. No Gabbert appears in the estate records of Union 1810 or 1830. At any rate I am inclined to believe that this Martha was the mother of Thomas M. Gabbert. Can anyone shed any more light on the subject?
