Dear Mr Spears My name (as I am sure you can see) is Sue Gabbert (by marriage) and I was scrolling through looking for my Husband's family tree (but we live in Australia, so I will have to shorten my search, for now) when I came across your letter. Please do not take this the wrong way but I know how it feels to be rejected/ignored but I am at the other end of the spectrum. I gave my Daughter up 34 years ago, met her once (when she was 15) and then nothing. I miss her terribly and would like to meet with her again (she has a little Nephew we would like to introduce to her). Anyway, by the time you read this things may have changed with you and your Birth Mother - I sincerely hope so. Who knows, you might be related to my Husband's side of the family - maybe even a longlost, cousin of an Uncle of a Nephew of a Sister of a Grandfather who came to Australia - who knows. We recently went to the Library and the Research Lady was interested in our surname and after talking with her for a few minutes we found out that she and my Husband Ron are related, by marriage. Small world isn't it. Sorry if it seems like I'm waffling on but I thought I would write anyway. I hope you don't mind. I now have to find a genealogy site for the Meditteranean countries as my parents are from Italy and Yugoslavia. Hope this email finds you in great spirits. Take care and enjoy life.
