I'm searching for my family with the name Gabbei. Is this part of the "corrupt' spelling as well? I have seen a marriage record with him listed as Gabbie, and her obit listed as Gabbei. I am at a total loss to find this family in Indiana. Searching for William Gabbei married Effie Perkins in 1920.
