Michael,
Both these men ended up in Pennsylvania.
They initially settled in Montogomery Co., north of Philadelphia. Early records can be found in the Old Goshenhoppen Lutheran church records. I know Johan Philipp then moved further north into the Macungie region (west of Allentown). I am descended from Johan Philipp. Early information can be found in Annette Burgert's book from the Pennsylvania German Society, "Eighteenth Century Emigrants, The Western Palantine."
