Gabel, Henry and Ferdinand (both of Aarhus, Denmark)

We are trying to find descendants of Gabel's who emigrated from Aarhus, Denmark, during the years of the 19th century. They are:

- Henrik (called Henry) Vilhelm Gabel (*May 17, 1866), baker. registered for emigration o/a June 17, 1887 by the ship 'Island' to New York.
- Frants Ferdinand (*July 7, 1873), gardener. Emigrated by the German ship 'Scandia' in 1893, also to New York.

We know that they both arrived safely and settled in New York. Henry was a partner in the firm of Gabel & Williamson, Room 1125, World Building, N.Y.. Around WW1. He married (wife unknown) and fathered three children: Lillian born 1897, Dagmar born 1898 and Howard 1907 - 68. They lived at Ogden Ave. 992 in N.Y. If anyone has information about any of the above persons please contact me.
