Michael,

I descend from Johann Friedrich* Gabel/Goble, born 12 Oct 1734 in Offenbach,Hess County, Germany, married 10 May 1737 in Philadelphia, PA to Elizabeth Weigle. They later moved to Washington Co. VA settling on the North Fork of the Holston River. He is buried at the Gobble cemetery in VA.

Please note, the surname changed to Gobble not the original spelling of Gabel.

I descend from the daughter Catherine Gobble, parents mentioned above.
