Dear Bob,
You mentioned Margareta Bremm as a mother of 1846 Jacob.

Well, Margareta Bremm's parents were Peter Bremm and a Susanna Noehrsbach [sic] likely a Niersbach with crazy spelling.

That would then indicate that the 1846 Jacob married a cousin of some degree.

Has anyone found the wedding of Jacob b. 1846 and Mary Whateverhernameis? It should have been about 1874-75. In the 1900 Racine Census, they indicate they've been married for 25 years. They had 10 children, with 6 living!
