I just got back into this..

My name is Geoff Gabel, and I have left many posts. I have a deeper sense as to my family history.

My grandfather was Leon L. Gabel, and his brother was Irwin Gabel. Thier parents were William A. Gabel and Maggie Puhl. William's father was Frederick Gabel (from Germany),and was married to a woman born in Belgium.

My grandfather was born in Iowa @ 1907, and married Edith M. Perry, and later moved to California in the late '50's early 60's.

I have never met anybody from Irwin's family, and did not know of his existence until conducting research. Leon and Edith had 5 sons. The oldest passed away in 1987 in Floyd County.
