I am a descendant of the Gabert family but our line comes from Germany. Right now two other researchers and I are having a debate about Sebastian Gabert who came over on the Ship Monterey at 28 yrs. old. He is my gg grandfather and his dates are 1823-1906. We were told my gg grandmother Catherine Ebert came over on the same ship but there is no mention of her on the passenger list. Do you have a Sebastian Gabert on your family tree? Could this man be your relative and not ours at all? Look forward to your kind response. Thank you.
