I am looking for information on Joh? (presumably John, Mary and Jacob R.Gable/Gabel/Gabril/Gabriel/Gabrel. John married Mary Mury/Murry/Murray/Murrah/????? in the early 1800's. They had a son Jacob Randolph Gable born approx 1828. The best information I have shows John, Mary & Jacob were born were all born in South Carolina. This information is taken from Jacob's marriage application in Jackson County, Georgia in 1876, and from the 1880 census information on Jacob R. Gable. Due to Jacob's age at the time of his marriage, I think it possible he a previous marriage. I can not find and information on Jacob prior to 1876 and no information on John & Mary. There is a John & Mary Gable with a son Jacob on the Gable Family of the South Website but it's hard to make this the same family. Mary's maiden name is different. It is also hard to make this the same Jacob. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
