I'm also seeking info of the family of Catherine Gable. She was born 4 Aug 1800 in PA and died 4 Aug 1875 on her 75th birthday. She and her husband, Christian Browand are both buried in the Sigler Cemetery in Putnam County, Ohio.
The Browand name has several spellings including Prowant, which all their children used. Christian spelled it Browand. However I have also seen the spelling Brovont and others. I believe earlier ancestors may have used Brua?
