Gabler Family Genealogy Forum

Wow! We were under the impression that there were very few Gabler's in the US My husband's family is from Berlin, Germany. His Great-Great-Grandfather's name was John G. Gabler He came to the US when he was 19 in 1876. He married Nancy J. Young in Missouri. They had a son named George Washington Gabler who married Roady Gosnell Green. She was full blooded native American. We are trying to trace his indian heritage for our daughters. Any information that you may have would be greatly appreciated. We pronounce it Gaybler also, but I'm told that in Germany it is pronounced Gablier. Would love to hear from any other Gablers.
