I am not sure exactly what type of information you are seeking. Are you trying to find Shirley Clinton Gabler's father? Or are you trying to find personal type info, like occupation, hobbies, etc?

Shirley Clinton Gabler's father is Andrew J. Gabler born in New York Sept 1845. The family lived in Illinois and Indiana before West Virginia. Andrew J. Gabler and wife were living next door to Shirley and his wife in 1920 in Wayne County, West Virginia. You might check to see if there are any county history books that mention these men. At one point, Andrew J. Gabler was a glassblower in Indiana. Also, have you checked for an obit for your grandfather? It might contain some tidbits.
