I also had distant relatives in East Berlin in the 1960's. I know next to nothing about them. All I have are a few old letters from my mother'scousin(Rudolph)Gabriel. He does mention a sister Inge and an aunt Erna and a Heinz. If you run into any of these names let me know. Rudolph was in WWII as a pilot and was shot down over north Africa. He was a POW in the U.S. until the end of the war. He resettled in Spain and married a Spanish girl. They had two daughters but that's all I have. I'm trying to get information on him so that maybe I can get information on my grandfather-Erich Reinhardt Gabriel of Klein Katz, West Prussia.
