Hello,
I would like to know if anyone has information of any relatives or people they know whose last name is Gabriel and live or has lived in the Dominican Republic. My family resides in the Northeastern part of the island; the Province of San Francisco de Macoris. My grandfather "Ciprian Gabriel" knows very little about his family, he just faintly remembers hearing the possibility that people (possibly his immediate family) migrated from one of the close French islands, possibly Martinique or Guadeloupe. I would love ANY info, thanks!
