My grandfather was born Damon Gabrion (last name changed to
Gabriel when he entered the U.S. Army in 1873.) He was born in 1850 in St. Polycarpe, Soulanges, Quebec Province. His parents were Simon (Simeon) Jules Gabrion and Josephte Lalonde. He had a brother named Charles, who I believe was older than he. Charles had a son named Oscar. It sounds like we may descend from the same Gabrions. Among my father's things was a picture of Charles and his wife. I would enjoy hearing what information you have on Charles and Oscar.
