Hi Graham,

I'm a descendant of Thomas & Harriet Gaby too.

Although we knew him as Thomas, some documents show his Christian name as Richard.
According to an old bible my aunts had, he was born in Berbice, British Guiana, 25 December 1810. When he was young he returned to England.

There were tales in our family that his mother was an indian princess and that his father was very strict and that Thomas always had to back out of a room.

I'm a descendant of Jemima Blanche. Where do you fit in?
