I have read several of the posts to this site, but don't find any mention of Patterson. Somewhere I got the information that some of my GGfathers siblings married into the Gaby family. My GGF was Joseph Patterson born 1837. I have his sister Elizabeth born 1826 possibly married John Gabie 11 May 1850. His brother William b 1831 may have married Catherine Gaby 9 Jan 1850. His sister Mary b 1833 possibly married a Christian F Gabie 24 June 1850. Since these names are all common names and Patterson is a common name I don't know if they are my ancestors or not. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks in advance.
