My Martin was Martin Alexander Gaba, born in 1844 in TN.
State of MO census 1900 shows him with his wife Eliza Jane (Fink) with 2 other children. The other son was George Gabe born around 1879 and the daughter Sarah Jane Gaba born around 1884. On the 1900 census it shows George born in Nebraska.
The family came from TN then Nebraska and then MO.
The only other time I found Martin in the census reports was in TN in 1850. On that census he is listed as birthdate of 1846 or 1847. Possible parents John Gaba spelled (gabe) with wife Eliz, uncle Issac Gabe, aunt Sarah gabe, and grandmother Magadlin Gabe age 76.
Martin and Eliza are buried in a small country cemetry in MO. I just discovered the gravesite 3 wks ago. I do have a copy of Martin's death certificate.
