Happy New Year to all who look at this site.
We have all been very silent throughout 2003 so to get the year started I will seek some information on a family from Taghboy parish, on the county Galway side of the River Suck. This family appear in the Ballyforn Parish Register from 1852 to 1857 and then dissapear never to be heard of again.
John Gachuin and his wife Catherine Daily have the following children;
Michael Gachuin baptised 17 July 1852
William Gachuin baptised 30 April 1855
Denis Gachuin baptised 19 Sept 1857
Given the Christian names these are obviously related to us all but where did they go? If you can help at all please reply
If this one can be solved ther are a few others waiting to be posted.
My guess they all went to U.S.A., or to England.
