I have since located the Public House operated by Thomas Gacquin from 1896 to 1902 in Church Street, Roscommon.
It is located at the junction of Church St. and Abbey St. opposite the Courthouse and Methodist Chapel(now a Church of Ireland Hall).
After Thomas Gacquin's death his widow continued with the pub as did her new husband William Logan. He sold it to an Edward(Ned) Beads, then returned from America. When Ned Beades died the pub was sold to Malachy Donnelly of Rahara and later passed to his son Joseph Donnelly. Joesph Donnelly now owens the building but does not live there so it remains unused today.
