Delighted to read your message and to have another person share information on this site.
I have psoted a number of messages over the years which you may find useful most of these are under the heading 'Information on Gacquin name' I would always welcome any additional information you might be able to contribute to fill in gaps in the patch work that is our family history.
I am a descendant of the Gacquin/Gaquin families you noted in the Dysart Parish Records.
I once had a message from a Lizzie Gaughwin from Melbourne she was probably part of your family.
Does your family have an idea as to where in Ireland they came from and when they migrated to Austtralia. It would be interesting to know when they moved there as I know some of my family went to the U.S. about 1860 or even before.
I would be delighted to get any further information you may have.
