My name is Brendan Blanchfield, some time ago I tried to research the Gauckwin family and did get in touch with Stewart Brennan.
My mother was Jane Gauckwin, her siblings were Molly, Nellie, Jack, David, Tom, Madge & Bernard. All of St Helens.
My sister Kathleen & I did start to look into the Gauckwin family some time ago (my other siblings are Michael, Kieran & Loughlan). In November 2006 my cousin Monica died (daughter of Molly) and so here we are again reminiscing about our family. If anybody out there knows of our roots we would be grateful for you to let us know and to get in touch with you.
