Hi all! The forum has been a bit slow for awhile, so I thought that I'd post an invite to the a newer social network set up by the 'Next Generation' of Gaquin/Gacquin/Gauckwins.
My niece, Danielle Gaquin, began a quest,on Facebook.com, to gather together as many Gaquins (and varient spellings) in one place just to get to know each other. To those who are unfamiliar, Facebook is a social network begun for college students which is now open to anyone. The group 'Being a Gaquin' has about 40 member thus far. A lot of the younger 'kids' but we elders are creeping in (invited of course!) So, go onto Facebook.com and set up a page...then look for friends... and come join in...
There are many members from both US Gaquin branches as well as Darren Gauckwin(UK) and Andrew, Helen & Stef Gacquin (Ire)...
ps. William, I believe that you had an encounter with my niece, Danielle. Something about translating a poem to Gaelic for a tattoo?? Pat
