To all our cousins in U.S.
I hope and pray that all our extended families are safe and well following the terrorist attacks in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.
We send our sympathy and prayers to all in the U.S. We were shocked and saddened by what we saw on T.V. over the last few days. We pray for guidance for those who have to make decisions in the coming days.
We had a National Day of Mourning in Ireland on Friday...all offices, schools, and business closed for the day. There were Masses in all churches. In my own church St Bridid's in Curraghboy we had Mass at 10.30 am. with a congregation similar to a Christmas Mass in numbers.
