To my extended family 'across the pond'... Thank you for your thoughts and prayers in these horrific times. Being, like Eileen, from Massachusetts, I can echo her sentiments...Although, thank God, my immediate family is safe, I have work associates who are missing family members...others who have sons & daughters in the military...everyone has a story as we try to make some sense of these irrational events. The wide range of raw emotion..shock, incredulity, fear, anger, and sadness is at times overwhelming. But the steel of resolve and pride is evident in everyone as well. This, as President Bush termed 'first war of the millenium', will not be fought against nations but must be all of civilized humanity uniting to stop these heinous acts of terrorism. Thanks again for your compassionate words and may God Bless America and the the rest of the civilized world as we face what will be very difficult times ahead. Patricia Gaquin
