Checking in with extended family of Gacquins worldwide.
Am very moved by the support our America is receiving from abroad. Have recently talked with McCormack cousin John in Derreen and they are truly concerned and hurt by what has happened to the 'parish across the pond'. Several of the victims were Irishborn. I guess we Americans find out who are true friends are when something like this happens. Thank you, Ireland and England, for being steadfast in your support. It is very meaningful to know one is not alone.
This is a small prayer I was whispering in my times of disbelief, fear and sadness and it helped:

Please~~God Help US.
Please~~God Forgive Them.
Please~~God Bless America

May our bruised American spirit never be broken. God Bless you all.

Janice MCCORMICK McLaughlin
Grandniece of Mathew and Mary [McCormack] Gauquin
