I hope you enjoy this site. You will find a lot of information on the Gacquin/Gaquin/Gaughwin/Gauchwin families if you read through my contributions to this site under the heading 'Information on the Gacquin Family'. If you are in touch with Stewart Brennan he will keep you posted on the Gaughwin families now in the U.K. There are no members of this family with the name Gaughwin in any part of Ireland now all have imigrated to England over the years. It is most likely that there are relatives of these families around the Ballinasloe area of Co. Galway in the west of Ireland.
I am not sure how you fit in with Stewart Brennans immediate family or if your Dad is from another family which originated from Co. Galway. Post another message if you have any questions and I will try to answer them.
