Hello again everyone - very best wishes from my wife Kate and I to you all for 2002. After the terrible end to 2001 we are now really looking forward to the new year, we are expecting our first child in June this year which as you might expect we are very excited about. I see the 1901 UK census is trying to be online now - but seems to be swamped all the time - has anyone found any relatives in there yet? And as William says - I am now in touch with the Gaughwins in Australia who know their ancestor was from the Ballinasloe area and are interested in tracing their roots. Maybe they'll appear on the noticeboard soon! Oviously, I'm looking forward to England winning the World Cup this year - I was about 3 months old last time they did it and felt I could fully participate in the celebrations. something I hope to get chance to put right this time! An England-Ireland final is always possible and would be a bit tricky to call... I see from a quick check that 9 different people have posted messages on the noticeboard since Andrew started the site - I wonder if there will be more by the end of 2002? So, very best wishes to you and your families wherever you are - I look forward to contacting you this year and maybe even meeting you someday. Cheers, Stewart
