I've requested a NJ birth cert for my grfather Daniel. NJ records start in 1878, so if he was born earlier than the 1879 date on death cert I'll be in trouble. However if birth cert is abailable it should have more info on Patrick and also Daniel's mother's maiden name which might help. If they have the birth cert, I'll try for a death certs for Patrick and Mary.
