We have a common ancestor in Louis Joseph Godaire. My genealogy goes like this. Myself, my mother Dorothy Bailey, my grandmother Rose Brouillet, GGrandmother Mary virginia Godaire, GGGrandfather Louis Joseph Godaire. I believe this makes us 3rd cousins once removed.
